JOBSITE THEATER

Jobsite is an ensemble-based 501(c)(3) non-profit professional theater company that has served the Tampa Bay area since 1998. We are the official resident theater company of the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Tampa, FL.

Our Mission
Jobsite is dedicated to producing socially and politically relevant theater for the broadest possible audience. We have established a collective of like-minded regional artists over 60 members strong, creating both a supportive collaborative environment and professional theatrical laboratory. Through all forms of theater – experimental, new plays, contemporary work, or the classics – and our expanding educational and community outreach, we hope to inspire our community to become not just consumers, but true citizens.

Tampa Fringe Festival
& The Fringe Theatre

Since 2017, the Tampa International Fringe Festival has brought bold and original performing arts to historic Ybor City. Inspired by the Edinburgh Fringe, Tampa Fringe showcases theater, comedy, music, dance, improv, and more. Each year, Ybor becomes a stage for local, national, and international performers, offering audiences fresh, unfiltered, and unexpected experiences.

Fringe is built on accessibility—giving artists a platform to share their voices and audiences affordable ways to enjoy diverse performances. Every ticket supports the performers directly, encouraging creativity, experimentation, and innovation. Beyond the shows, Tampa Fringe fosters community with special events, after-parties, and the electric energy of live performance.

In addition to the annual festival, The Fringe Theatre serves as a year-round home for independent art. Located in Ybor City, it hosts plays, stand-up, cabaret, open mics, and more, keeping the spirit of Fringe alive all year long.
